Frustrated by the lack of resources available to provide good quality trips for his students, Nevil left his university lecturer job to set up Don't be a tourist. 9 years on, he still can't help jumping back on the bus to lead a trip.
After time at the Finnish Institute of Sporting excellence, and travelling throughout Scandanvia and Eastern Europe, Katy's now settled with us in her role developing institutional partnerships.

When she's not leading expeditions in Norway, Slovenia and Scotland as an RAF reservist or on fieldwork in Uganda, Kenya or Southern Sudan for her PhD, Shona's leading trips across the UK with us.
Previously an International School sports and dance teacher, Katy-Lou's now her university's Welfare Officer. At the weekend she's out leading trips for us, satisfying her passion for the outdoors.
